Peter (Peng) Huang started his career developing and writing for Colony Pictures (now Collective Pictures), where he co-produced the Netflix feature CODE 8 (starring Robbie Amell, Stephen Amell, and Sung Kang).

Peter then pursued his passion for directing by moving into music videos and commercials. His work with artists such as Avicii, Eminem, Martin Garrix, Jessie Reyez, and SonReal has landed an array of wins and nominations at the Cannes Young Director Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Prism Prize, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and Juno Awards.
 

Peter’s short film 5 FILMS ABOUT TECHNOLOGY screened at Sundance, where it was acquired by Neon and released theatrically with Nacho Vigalondo’s COLOSSAL. The hit short was then adapted into NINE FILMS ABOUT TECHNOLOGY for season 4 of FX’s Cake. He has also directed for CBC/Netflix’s WORKIN' MOMS and CTV/Roku’s CHILDREN RUIN EVERYTHING.
